The ASA event will focus on how the current environment is defined by shifting capital markets, heightened scrutiny, and evolving deal structures, and understanding how fair value aligns with real-world market activity. It will bring together valuation professionals from across the country to explore the intersection of fair value principles and today’s deal environment.

Smith will present a panel, “Cheap Stock Guide Discussion – What Really is New and Matters,” focused on key findings from the new guide and what insights will matter to appraisers going forward. His session will run from 11:00 am-12:15 pm EDT.

Pumphrey and Woodward will present a session, “EV or not EV, That is the Question,” which will cover Enterprise Value, a prevalent part of many valuation assignments. They will share insights about how to approach this valuation measure during their panel, which will take place from 3:45 pm-5:00 pm EDT.
