Wes Nichols

Mr. Nichols specializes in the valuation of machinery and equipment for domestic and international clients. For over 15 years, he has prepared valuations for allocation of purchase price, impairment, fresh start accounting, tax, asset based lending, insurance placement, litigation support, and strategic planning purposes. Major industries served include automotive, oil and gas, chemical processing, food processing, consumer products, glass manufacturing, medical equipment manufacturing, healthcare, metal working, and plastics manufacturing.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Nichols was a director at Great American Group Advisory and Valuation Services. He has also held positions at Stout Risius Ross, Inc., CBIZ Valuation Group, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Arthur Andersen LLP.

Mr. Nichols earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds the designation of accredited senior appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers.
