Mr. Werkheiser has nearly 15 years of experience in the valuation of commercial and industrial real estate for tax reporting, internal planning, insurance, and financial reporting requirements. Specializing in the valuation of complex, user-based real property, Mr. Werkheiser has experience with automobile and powertrain assembly, paper mills, integrated steel mills, printing and publishing facilities, breweries, shipyards, professional sports stadiums and more. He also has extensive experience completing and defending cost segregation studies for a variety of businesses and industries for federal tax purposes.
Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Werkheiser held management and real estate advisory positions at Duff & Phelps and American Appraisal.
Mr. Werkheiser received his bachelor of science degree in architectural engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). He is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute and holds the MAI designation as well as the designation of accredited senior appraiser (ASA).
