Philip Mastil

Mr. Mastil specializes in the valuation of businesses and assets and liabilities for financial reporting purposes. In particular, he focuses on the valuation of intellectual property/intangible assets such as trademarks, technology, software, customer relationships and IPR&D. He also values business interests for tax purposes.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Mastil was an associate in the corporate advisory group of Willamette Management Associates in New York. In this capacity, he performed valuations for financial reporting requirements under ASC 805 and 350, litigation support purposes, corporate planning, and fairness and solvency opinions.

Mr. Mastil holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Corporate Accounting from the Simon School of Business of the University of Rochester and a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of New York, Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF), and Energy Infrastructure Council.
