Nilufer Usta

Nilufer Usta has more than two decades of experience providing valuation and financial advisory support to privately held and publicly traded companies. She has extensive experience valuing businesses, equity interests, intangible assets, intellectual property, and complex financial instruments for financial reporting, strategic planning, and transaction‑related needs. Her work focuses on the life sciences and technology sectors.

Before joining VRC, Ms. Usta served as a director in the Valuation Services Group at RSM US LLP in Boston. She began her valuation career as a manager in the valuation practice at Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co.

Ms. Usta earned an MBA with specializations in finance and accounting from Clark University and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Middle East Technical University. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is accredited in business valuation by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. She is an active member the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, the American Society of Appraisers, and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
