Luke McCann

Mr. McCann has extensive experience preparing valuations for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions, ESOPs, and litigation matters. He regularly leads engagements involving fair value analyses for purchase price allocations, stock-based compensation, goodwill impairment testing, and fair value measurement. Mr. McCann also has experience valuing complex securities including options, warrants, preferred stocks, convertible bonds, debt, contingent considerations, and commodity instruments for financial reporting and tax purposes.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. McCann worked for Weaver and Tidwell, LLP, providing valuation services for a wide variety of purposes. He began his career in KPMG’s Asset Management/Financial Services audit practice.

Mr. McCann holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is Accredited in Business Valuation and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA).
