Joshua Kinard

Joshua Kinard has more than 15 years of experience advising public and private companies on complex tangible asset valuation matters. His experience includes financial reporting, tax planning, transaction support, litigation support, fixed asset management, and strategic advisory services. He has experience across asset intensive industries, including oil & gas, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, mining, power generation, and data centers. Throughout his career, he has contributed to appraisal engagements involving more than $300 billion of property, plant, and equipment for some of the world’s largest organizations. He has held client meetings and conducted site inspections across 47 U.S. states and more than 25 countries.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Kinard spent 16 years with KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services practice, including nine years as a Senior Manager specializing in machinery and equipment valuation.

Mr. Kinard earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Texas A&M University and holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in Machinery and Technical Specialties (MTS) from the American Society of Appraisers.
