Eugene Wu

Mr. Wu specializes in the valuation of business enterprise, intangible assets and liabilities for M&A, financial and tax reporting, and other strategic matters. He has served clients in a broad range of industries, including but not limited to software, information technology, consumer and industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and financial services (wealth management, banking) sectors.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Wu was a senior manager at Grant Thornton in the Strategy & Transactions group in New York. Prior to Grant Thornton, he held positions at the Big 4 accounting firms within their financial advisory practices. Mr. Wu’s early career years were spent at Duff & Phelps and BearingPoint.

Mr. Wu earned his M.B.A. from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business and bachelor’s of science in financial engineering from Binghamton University. He holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certification by the AICPA and is a candidate for the Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuations credential.
