Don JacobsMr. Jacobs has over 40 years of experience in performing business valuations across all industry segments. For more than 25 years, he has specialized in the financial services industry covering the banking, insurance, securities and investment management sectors. Mr. Jacobs has performed and supervised thousands of valuations of businesses, business interests, intangible assets and financial instruments for financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, regulatory, litigation support, and other purposes.

Mr. Jacobs is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuation (CEIV). He has authored articles on valuation issues and has co-authored a chapter on the valuation of service companies for a book on valuation theory and practice. He has lectured on valuation and quantitative methods for New York University’s continuing education course in financial analysis and also lectures on valuation topics at business and professional association seminars.

Mr. Jacobs received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Queens College of the City University of New York and MBA from Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York.
