Bryson MillerBryson Miller leads VRC’s Dallas office. He has provided numerous business, intangible asset, and equity valuations for a variety of purposes, including fair value measurements (ASC 820), allocation of purchase price (ASC 805 / IFRS 3), impairment testing (ASC 350 / 360), stock-based compensation (ASC 718), and fresh start accounting valuations (ASC 852). He has significant tax valuation experience including IRC 165g – worthless stock, IRC 280g – “Golden Parachute,” IRC 367 / 482 / others – restructuring, reorgs, and intangible property, IRC 382 – net operating loss carryforwards, IRC 409a – deferred compensation, IRC 897 / 1445 – FIRPTA valuations, and IRC 1060 – tax purchase price allocations. In addition, Mr. Miller has experience with portfolio valuations, corporate structure & ownership, Tax Receivable Agreement (“TRA”) valuations and valuation consulting.

Mr. Miller has valued companies in multiple industries with significant experience in industrial products, technology, telecommunications, retail and consumer, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, and others. He has valued companies in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia from both U.S. GAAP and IFRS perspectives. He has assisted clients with financial reporting and tax valuations for deals and restructurings ranging from $10 million to $80 billion.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Miller held leadership positions in the Deals practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and worked in the Valuation Services practice for KPMG US.

Mr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management. He holds the designation of accredited senior appraiser issued by American Society of Appraisers.
