Valuation Research Corporation (VRC), a leading global provider of independent valuation services, is pleased to announce PJ Patel, Co-CEO and Senior Managing Director, will speak on a panel at the RICS Business Valuation Symposium, to be held June 3 at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi in New York City.
The RICS Business Valuation Symposium features a roster of international industry professionals, stakeholders in the business valuation community, and VPOs for a half-day discussion with a focus on fair value measurement estimates and challenges in financial reporting, how the community is responding to the new quality monitoring program, and whether advances in technology will necessitate further changes.
Patel will participate in a panel discussion at 4:40 p.m. ET discussing the future of business valuation through the lens of global trends and advances in technology.
Patel is a widely respected valuation expert and a frequent presenter on valuation issues for financial reporting purposes. He has been on the Fair Value panel at the AICPA SEC Conference, is an active member of the AITF, and was a member of the Appraisal Foundation’s Working Group preparing an industry Practice Aid for valuing customer related assets. He is regularly quoted in the media on valuation issues.
