Valuation Research Corporation (VRC), a leading global provider of independent valuation support and advisory services, has announced the addition of six professionals to its Portfolio Valuation practice. VRC’s expansion of its team in this area is in response to a growing demand for client portfolio valuations in the areas of both private equity and private credit.
Working in the firm’s New York, Philadelphia-area, and San Francisco offices, the Portfolio Valuation practice group focuses on valuations for all types of hard-to-value illiquid or non-marketable securities, including Level 3 securities, loans, bonds, and equity and structured products. Professionals in VRC’s Portfolio Valuation practice group bring an average of more than 20 years of experience with backgrounds in accounting, economics, finance, and statistics. Team members hold advanced degrees and certifications, including CFA, CPA, ASA, and CAIA.
“While our private equity, private debt, BDC, and other asset management clients are bolstered by sustained economic growth, low interest rates, a supportive credit market, and abundant capital, this also brings rigorous audit examinations and investor demands for transparent, positive assurance on private asset values,” said John Czapla, Senior Managing Director and Head of the Portfolio Valuation practice. “We’ve added six professionals to deepen our bench strength and meet our clients’ needs for independent valuation. Each of them brings an impressive set of skills and varied backgrounds that will enrich our firm and our client relationships.”
