VRC’s PJ Patel to Lay Out ‘What’s New in Financial Reporting’ for New York CFAs

New York (February 25, 2022) – Valuation Research Corporation (VRC), a leading global provider of independent valuation support and advisory services, announced co-CEO PJ Patel will moderate a panel for the CFA Society of New York entitled What’s New in Financial Reporting.

The session is expected to touch on new accounting standards and financial reporting developments, including business combinations, leases, convertible debt, goodwill, ESG topics, and cryptocurrency. The panel will also include FASB Board Members Gary Buesser and Frederick Cannon; SEC Senior Associate Chief Accountant Jonathan Wiggin; and Scott Taub, Managing Director at Financial Reporting Advisors. The formal discussion will be followed by an interactive Q&A period.
