New York (November 5, 2020) PJ Patel, co-CEO and Managing Director at Valuation Research Corporation (VRC), a leading global provider of independent valuation support and advisory services, will present at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Forensic & Valuation Services Conference. Patel will be presenting on Tuesday, November 10.

The AICPA conference will offer timely updates, cutting-edge information adapting to change, and quality online networking with other forensic accounting and valuation professionals. It is scheduled for November 9-11.

The session, titled “Professional Perspectives & Implications Unveiled,” will take place on November 10 at 5:05 p.m. and last for 50 minutes.

The session will focus on the valuation practice issues associated with current projects at the SEC, PCAOB, and FASB. Presenters will discuss recently issued standards as well as current projects in development and how they will impact valuation practice. They will also cover some of the issues considered regardless of whether they made it into the final standard. Learning objectives include the following:

  • Review new rules or standards which may impact the valuation profession
  • Discuss standards that are in development
