Balynsky Joins AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee

VRC’s Paul Balynsky has been appointed to the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee (“FVSEC”). Valuation Research Corporation (VRC) is a leading provider of independent valuation support.

FVSEC is a senior AICPA committee whose mission is to develop and communicate standards and practice guidance to enable members to provide valuation services in a manner that is in the best interests of the profession. The FVSEC accomplishes this mission by developing forensic and valuation standards that inspire public trust, by responding in a timely manner to the need for interpretations and guidance and by communicating this information clearly to the profession and to users.

Balynsky is a Managing Director and a senior member of VRC’s Portfolio Valuation practice. He is a frequent participant and presenter in various VRC hosted and affiliated events. Prior to joining VRC, Paul held the position of manager of financial analysis for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).  He holds the designation of chartered financial analyst (CFA) and is a certified public accountant accredited in business valuation (CPA/ABV).
