VRC's Portfolio Valuation Group Adds Two Financial Analysts to its Princeton Office

Princeton, NJ (April 4, 2017)

Valuation Research Corporation (VRC), a leading provider of independent valuation support, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Birnbaum, CFA, and Christopher Walling have joined the firm’s Princeton office as vice presidents and senior financial analysts.

“Both Jeffrey and Christopher bring significant experience valuing energy investments,” said John Czapla, Managing Director. “This continues to be an important focus at VRC, and we are glad to welcome them both to our team.”

Jeffrey Birnbaum was most recently a Managing Director with Wunderlich Securities, where he was an equity research analyst covering Midstream Energy/Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs). Prior to Wunderlich, his equity research career spanned seven years at UBS and two years at Morgan Stanley, during which time he covered MLPs & Natural Gas, Packaged Foods and Food & Drug Retail. Mr. Birnbaum began his career at JPMorgan Chase. He received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Walling spent over six years covering upstream oil and gas companies on the sell-side. He was most recently with CLSA, where is focused on global Oil Majors and Large Cap Exploration and Production (“E&P”) companies, and prior to that was a Vice President at Cowen and Company. He began his career at KPMG. Mr. Walling is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Marist College.
