Justin Johnson

Mr. Johnson leads the firm’s San Francisco office. He is also a shareholder and sits on the firm's Board of Directors. Mr. Johnson is a practice leader in the area of common stock valuations for Section 409A, ASC 505/718 and cheap stock purposes and has significant experience providing valuations for investment, financial reporting (ASC 820/350) and tax purposes. Formerly, he was a member of the firm’s Financial Opinions Committee and participated in the review of financial opinions such as fairness, solvency and capital adequacy opinions rendered to corporate boards and special committees.

Mr. Johnson has over 15 years of professional experience. Prior to joining VRC, he held positions with Arthur Andersen, Merrill Lynch and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  

He holds the designation of chartered financial analyst (CFA). He is also a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco and the Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF).
